Long distance travel from other airports can be booked straight to Tutzing station, and tickets are validated by the conductor on train. For the trip from Munich airport or main station to Evangelische Akademie Tutzing, passengers need a valid ticket to travel on the Munich city public transport system. Those tickets must be stamped as soon as you get on a bus or tram, or enter the transport area (in the case of a metro station), and are valid for both, S-Bahn and bus. Car
Going by car and approaching from Munich, Tutzing is accessible by motorway A95 towards Garmisch-Partenkirchen with destination Starnberg. From Starnberg either via the state road at the lake's western shore in southern direction with destination Tutzing or via the B2 federal road towards Weilheim with destination Traubing. In Traubing turning left and following the signs guiding to Tutzing, and subsequently the Evangelische Akademie, will lead to the destination.
